Developments and innovations for systems planning are continuous in both the private and public sectors . For energy savings, the solutions that an expert study can provide ranging from type of system for the selection and the use of renewable energy available for greater convenience and environmentally friendly that is very important in Italy where the energy is the most expensive in Europe.
Studio Protecno considers it important and necessary to make a careful study of costs and benefits . The implementation of an intervention of this type involves a significant financial investment , whose cost is to be assessed against the "value" of power savings and payback period , it is therefore of fundamental importance to calculate the payback time of an investment : the number of years required to recover the initial investment to achieve it. In this way, it is possible to ascertain in a concrete way the advantages and disadvantages of these interventions, that is, if the annual savings in excess amortizes the cost over a period of time that our Client and we, as consultants , believe appropriate and profitable. Designers Protecno predispose "systems" in terms of energy savings and designed for each specific case.

It is emphasized that the lgs. 28/2011 makes it mandatory to produce a portion of renewable source of energy required for heating, cooling and domestic hot water of a building. The percentage to cover varies on the basis of the date of the request of permission to construct the building itself (see Annex 3 of the above mentioned Decree).
