In force from 2 December 2021 the UNI 9795: 2021 standard on the criteria for the design, installation and operation of fixed automatic fire
alarm detection and signaling systems.
In this edition, many installation criteria have been updated, including information for:
- resettable linear detectors;
- the sizing of point detectors in false ceilings and raised floors for those environments where there is no forced air circulation;
sizing of point detectors in beamed ceilings;
- the correct height positioning of the linear detectors (also placing a limit below which it is not possible to place the detector);
- the increase coefficients to be applied in the rooms, in the false ceilings, in the floating floors of environments with high air
circulation.
