UNI EN 1264, a standard that defines the types and characteristics of radiant heating and cooling systems integrated into building
structures, was revised a few months ago.
Among the main innovations:
- all types of low inertia and low thickness have been defined;
- added new definitions;
- indicated a new formula for calculating the thermal resistance;
- the limit value of the surface temperature of radiant ceilings has been standardized, in compliance with UNI EN ISO 11855;
- inserted a diagram that defines the types of joint, differentiating the expansion one from the fractionation cuts
